a quick portrait i did after last weeks halo session with an old skool friend of mine. I am a newbie at portraits, but believe portraits and anatomy are essential to bein a good artist, so am trying to learn them both at the moment.

Wow, this doesn't look like you're a newbie at portraits! Quite splendid! You could play with the light on the hand a little more if you really like to. I'm adding this to my favourites.
